Carolyn
Chief Executive Officer
Riverview Regional Medical Center (RRMC) has named Carolyn Sparks Chief Executive Officer.
Originally from Virginia, Sparks received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and her Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, MCV Campus in Richmond, Virginia. She is LEAN Certified, and Kata trained.
Her favorite part of her role in hospital administration is enabling healthcare providers and employees to provide high quality care to the community…truly, living out our mission of Making Communities Healthier!
In her free time, Carolyn enjoys spending time in her community and on the lake or hiking with her husband Kyle and their two dogs, Storm and Juice Box.
Jennifer Holder
Chief Nursing Officer
Jennifer Holder is the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Riverview Regional Medical Center. In this role, she provides leadership and direction for the nursing staff and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all functions of nursing, care coordination, and other support services.
Ms. Holder began her role at Riverview Regional Medical Center in June 2021, after serving as CNO of Trousdale Medical Center since 2017. She has also held roles within HighPoint Health Systems as Director of Case Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and Patient Safety Officer. She started her nursing career with St. Thomas Health working with a focus as a cardiac nurse and shared system resource supporting multiple departments throughout the health system. She has almost 20 years of nursing experience in providing patient care services and care coordination to the Middle Tennessee area
Ms. Holder holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a healthcare concentration from Cumberland University. She has been a Certified Professional in Patient Safety since August of 2017.
